Greenhouse on Porter is a breath of fresh air for the coast. It is a fun little locally-owned coffee shop with a lot of great things going on... art shows, music, yoga class, and more. I find it great that they are working with talented local folks to offer these events. It is located on the quiet Porter Ave. close to the beach, and walking distance from downtown Ocean Springs. Walking there on a sunny breezy day is actually very enjoyable. Their coffee is pretty tasty, but it is more than just a coffee shop. It's a great place to discover what this little coastal town has to offer. You must also try their amazing biscuits! Daily changing unique flavors and toppings. So good.

Wonderful little cafe. Very creative. I was here about two weeks ago, so I really don't remember which coffee I had, but I remember 2 things specifically: it had a tabacco hint (yum!) and it was the best black coffee I've ever had. I always drink coffee black, but this was so smooth and had such a great flavor that I actually took my time drinking it. We visited on a Friday night Op Shop, which is highly recommended! Don't let the outside fool you, this place is a gem! Not to mention the greenhouse. Very cute!

For longtime locals, you may remember this as a plant nursery pre-Katrina. Coffee aroma and delicious fresh biscuit aromas now greet you at the door. Local art dots the walls and newly planted beds are in the renovated greenhouse. Enjoy your coffee in the garden!

Amazing biscuits! My daughter said they were the best biscuits she's ever had. The greenhouse was beautiful and we had great conversations with the chef and some patrons. Oh- and I bought the drapey tshirt- it's my new favorite shirt. It's my Saturday shirt. :)

Tried the special biscuit with an heirloom tomato slice and cream cheese and the jasmine green tea. Delicious! My Mom ordered coffee and the sweet potato biscuit. What an interesting place and such sweet people. Loved the trailing veggies growing upward in the outside sitting area!
